An Update of the Meeting in Bagdogra, West Bengal, India

Participants in Bagdogra Meeting
Greetings to all my beloved brethren in Christ!
It is really a great experience to have a family worldwide. In every phase of work we do and have achieved so far, we sincerely thank you for standing alongside with us. Thank you for your prayer support and words of encouragements. Hereby I have furnished the details of the meetings held in Bhuttabari, South Bagdogra, West Bengal, India:

15th - 18th February 2014

On the 15th of February we started our meeting where 150 plus participants had participated from all over North Bengal, some from eastern Nepal, central Nepal, Bangladesh borders and Bhutan borders. This was  fellowship meeting and renewal of minds by the warm affable company of the family of God.
The theme of the meeting was "God's eternal purpose for mankind" and many local leaders presented their lesson in the assigned subjects staying within the theme.
Participants were really edified and nurtured in Christ. This was a wonderful meetings in which we could see the zeal of the youth energized and accelerated. We all are aware of our return back home, but we should also be mind-full of entrusting the ministry to faithful second generations. We are good, faithful and enthusiastic but it our responsibility to train brethren like us, in fact more enthusiastic and zealous for the word of God than us, for the extension of the Lord's kingdom.

We are facing great difficulties to be the new testament Church, imagine how difficult it would be for our children and moreover the third generation. When temptation and negative stands are higher than the positive lines there are more chances to lose the fight and tough to combat the doctrine of men. BUT it is not impossible, it is not yet late, Let us strive hard and entrust the legacy on strong shoulders. As Paul was reminding Timothy to commit the teaching to other faithful brothers " And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also." (2 Tim 2:2)

We believe, fellowship and meetings together are indeed needed, henceforth lets try to "not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching". (Heb 10:25)

Let us join hands together to prepare better tomorrow for the Lord's Church in the world of denominationalism.

Thank you
In His service
Joseph Khati
