The Eyes of Mary!

The Eyes of Marry

We all have seen many wonders in our lives. Our eyes must have seen, sometime things which we want to see, and sometime things which bothered us, but we have seen anyway. I personally have seen the greatest earthquake in Nepal devastating thousands of lives and injuring millions. I hated to see the aftermath, the worst devastating episode of natural calamity. But I saw anyway. You may also have seen the greatest wonders of life and may be the saddest episode of life.

In the Bible there are numerous numbers of eyes who have seen wonders and downs of life. In the book of John chapter 2:1-11 we witness a story which is like this:

"On the third day there was a wedding a Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus also was invited to the wedding with his disciples. When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him,"they have no wine." And Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come."His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever He tells you."
Now there were six stone water jars there for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the  servants, "Fill the jars with water." And they filled them up to the brim. And he said to them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast." So they took it. When the master of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and did not know where it cam from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom and said to hi, "Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine. But you have kept the god wine until now." This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him.

You can imagine what a shameful and awkward situation it would have been in the feast when the prime food item of the time, and the feast was not available which was the wine. These people lived in a desert area and because of the hot weather the first and for-most thing they offered to their guest was the wine (fruit juice) and here they ran out of it. Imagine where would they had run to find the wine in such a short span of time. They may had been to the nearest vendors, may be to their neighborhood or may be they had tried all possible ways but still the requirement was not yet met. There were thousands of eyes in that feast which saw all possible ways and prospects but in the midst of those thousands of eyes there was the eye of Marry.
The eyes of Marry didn't see the nearest vendor, the nearest neighborhood or the possible way but despite all these, she saw Jesus who was standing still and quite, May be the calmest and less attractive man of the feast but very very important man whom all couldn't recognize. The eyes of Marry saw the divine godhead within this less attractive man- Jesus. She knew that He can do miracles on this matter that is why in-spite of going to the master of the feast or to the bridegroom she went to Jesus. She knew who he was and what he can do. She knew in Him nothing is impossible.

Brethren today as we live in the midst of problem and heights of troubles we often forget to see Jesus standing in the midst of our every pains and grief. We run to may sources where we think this can be shorted out but Jesus wants us to see him with our eyes so that another miracles can happen in the midst of our troubles. He wants to live and show us that He is living with us. He wants to touch and show us that we are touched by Him.
Today I encourage you to surrender yourself to Jesus and open your eyes to see his miracles. Lets have the eyes Marry had... May God bless you all

In His Service
