Benevolent work in Kamlabagan

Dukhi lohar receiving the new blanket
As this new year began it reminded us that we have fought against Satan one full year with fear to our Lord, so we know how near we are to our eternal home. As a journey to Christ we have been able to discover many life is not easy in this world. To become a Christian is easy but to live a Christian life is hard. But speaking about Kamlabagan a remote part of West Bengal India, it is hard for people not only to live a Christian life but is hard for them to survive as human being. Every face of the nature hits them with agony and poverty.
When the winter started it was a good time for most of our people in and around West Bengal, but for these people when it started they also had to start not collecting their warm clothes but the woods from the jungle. Even in the most cold weather they were in their sorts and  T-shirts. The only thing we could do was to comfort them by the word of our mouth. But we knew some brethren in the States. When we were shivering with cold and when our hands were trembling some of our brethren were praying and caring for us and as a result they sent their help to us.
Now these shivering lips with cold are comforted not by words only but with by deeds and the hand that gave. In the picture you can see brother Dukhi Lohar 86 years old receiving a Blanket. I wish if you could be there to see his face of joy when he got the blanket. He said i was suffering the cold weather, but even in the extreme cold i was praying to my Lord saying, 'Lord since you are my Lord, You know that i my body is not bearing the cold , I have no one to supply. Help me!
When i heard this story my eyes were filled with water and i knew God answer the prayer through Dukhi's brethren in the States. Every one there had their own story and were without words. I personally felt they were very happy. These brethren have extended their gratitude and lots of love to you all who endeavor for Christ cause.
